Updated Dominar 400 to feature new instrument cluster, traction control, ride-by-wire, and more touring-friendly additions

Bajaj Dominar 400 (2025): Ready to Hit the Roads

Bajaj Auto is gearing up to launch the 2025 version of its popular sports-tourer, the Dominar 400, in India. The latest model has already been spotted at select dealerships, signaling that official launch and deliveries are imminent. While the motorcycle retains its core design and mechanical architecture, a host of feature upgrades make it a compelling upgrade.

What’s New in the 2025 Dominar 400?

The most significant update for 2025 is the digital instrument cluster, which has been borrowed from the recently launched Pulsar NS400Z. This new unit brings:

  • Bluetooth connectivity

  • Turn-by-turn navigation

  • Enhanced ride data and metrics display

  • Hazard light switch

  • Revised switchgear layout

With this upgrade, Bajaj has removed the smaller secondary display previously positioned on the fuel tank.

Additional new features include:

  • Traction Control System

  • Adjustable brake and clutch levers

  • Ride-by-wire throttle system

  • ABS riding modes

  • USB charging port for mobile devices

These enhancements aim to elevate the touring and daily commuting experience for riders.

Engine & Emission Compliance

The 2025 Dominar 400 is expected to retain its 373.3 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. While no cosmetic or core mechanical changes have been made, Bajaj will ensure the engine complies with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. As a result, slight variations in power and torque figures may be observed, though official specifications are yet to be confirmed.

Current Output (2024 Model):

  • Power: 39.42 bhp

  • Torque: 35 Nm

Touring Accessories Remain Intact

Keeping in line with its sports-touring DNA, the 2025 Dominar 400 continues to offer factory-fitted accessories such as:

  • Large windscreen for wind protection

  • Knuckle guards

  • Bash plate for engine safety

  • Backrest for pillion comfort

  • Saddle stays for mounting panniers or saddlebags

These built-in touring modifications eliminate the need for most aftermarket add-ons, making the Dominar 400 a ready-to-tour motorcycle straight from the showroom.

Expected Launch and Pricing

With the model already spotted at dealerships, the official price announcement and bookings are expected soon. Bajaj is likely to slightly increase the price to accommodate the tech upgrades, while still keeping the Dominar 400 competitively positioned in the segment.
