Preity Zinta, the owner of PBKS, recently engaged with fans through an 'Ask Me Anything' (AMA) session on her X account (formerly Twitter). During this interaction, a follower provocatively questioned whether Glenn Maxwell's lackluster performance was due to Zinta not marrying him. In response, Zinta firmly rejected the sexist implication of the question, emphasizing the need for respect and the elimination of gender bias on social media platforms.
Zinta's Insightful Remarks
Zinta articulated, "Would you pose this question to male team owners, or is this discrimination exclusive to women? I was unaware of the challenges women face in corporate environments until I entered the cricketing world. While I believe your question was meant in jest, I urge you to reconsider its implications, as they are quite troubling."
She further stated, "Having dedicated 18 years to my career, I deserve respect and request an end to gender bias. Thank you."
Glenn Maxwell's IPL Struggles
In IPL 2025, Glenn Maxwell's performance has been disappointing, particularly in batting. Despite showing some improvement in bowling, his batting average stands at a mere 8.20 after five matches. He has struggled against spin bowling and has not regained his form since IPL 2024, leading to discussions about his role and the pressures he faces.
