Karnataka UG-CET: Admit cards released

Bengaluru – The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the hall tickets for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UG-CET), scheduled to be held on April 16 and 17.

Candidates can download the admit card by visiting the KEA website and clicking on the ‘UG-CET 2025 Admit Card’ link. They must log in using their ID number and name. The same hall ticket will also be valid for the Kannada language test scheduled for April 15, according to KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna.

For the first time, an OTP and facial recognition-based login system has been introduced. The admit card now includes a QR code. To assist students, the download also includes a sample OMR sheet and a set of exam instructions, making it a two-page document. Students are advised to go through both pages and use the sample OMR sheet for practice to avoid errors during the exam.

During entry into the exam hall, the student’s facial features will be verified against the photo submitted with the application using a mobile app.

Candidates who have errors in their application forms or issues related to reservation claims will be given a chance to make corrections after the exam. KEA has urged candidates not to worry about such issues now and instead focus on preparing for the exam. The questions will be framed based on the prescribed syllabus, Prasanna added.
