Meghan Markle sends a coded message to the Royal family: 'I am not hiding'

Send Push
Meghan Markle on Saturday appeared as a red carpet event in Los Angeles wearing a red, plunging neckline, off-shoulder dress. She was not with Prince Harry and it was a sudden appearance after a brief hibernation which was mired by reports of how badly she treated her staff etc. According to experts, Meghan's appearance is a coded message to the Royal family and the message is she is not hiding, she does not care.

Meghan earlier revealed how she had to wear neutral colors at royal engagements so that she does not upstage anyone. No one, Meghan claimed, was allowed to wear the same color as Her Majesty. Also, repeating a dress was looked down upon in the Royal family. Meghan did both in her single appearance. She wore a bright red dress which she wore in 2021 also.

One subtle message was for the Royal family that she was not hiding and not longing to be embraced back and forgiven in the royal fold; the other message was to the Hollywood that she is ready to take a major plunge. An expert told Fox News that Meghan's ultimate aim is to transform herself into American royalty, independent of her husband.

"Wearing red is powerful, boss lady color. It says 'I'm here, I'm not hiding, and I'm ready to assume my position of power," the expert said. It's a message that Meghan is taking control of her life and doing things her way again.

The appearance came amid intense speculations that Meghan and Harry are not on the same page and are headed for a divorce. While Harry apparently longs to be back in the UK, Meghan is exploring her ways in Hollywood -- and both are struggling with bad PR. But their close friends said they are professionally parting ways and are not heading for a divorce. They will not be seen together as each of them has found their own calling -- Harry his charitable work and Meghan her Hollywood and entrepreneur responsibilities.
