In view of the ongoing heavy rains and natural calamity in the state, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today visited the disaster-affected areas of Laksar in Haridwar district . Despite difficult conditions, the Chief Minister conducted an on-site inspection of rural and waterlogged areas using a tractor and interacted with affected families to understand their problems.
The chief minister directed the district administration and disaster management officials present at the site to speed up relief and rehabilitation efforts . He emphasized that arrangements for the safety, housing, food, and healthcare of affected families must be ensured. He made it clear that no negligence in relief operations would be tolerated.
Chief Minister Dhami said: “The state government stands firmly with every affected citizen in this hour of crisis. Rescue and relief operations will be given top priority, and every possible assistance will be provided to the affected families.”
