Apple announced that five new games will join the Apple Arcade subscription service on May 1, headlined by "WHAT THE CLASH?", an exclusive multiplayer party game from award-winning developer Triband.
"WHAT THE CLASH?" follows Triband's critically acclaimed "WHAT THE CAR?", which won Mobile Game of the Year at the 2024 D.I.C.E. Awards. The quirky title combines elements of table tennis, archery, racing, and tag with modifier cards that create absurd combinations like "giraffle" and "toasty archery." Players control "The Hand," a customizable character with hundreds of unlockable items.
The May lineup also includes "with My Buddy," a simulation game where players care for virtual puppies and kittens with unique personalities; "LEGO Friends Heartlake Rush+," a colorful endless racing game set in Heartlake City; "Words of Wonders: Search+," a word search game featuring iconic landmarks; and "SUMI SUMI: Matching Puzzle+," a tap-to-match game with popular San-X characters like Rilakkuma.
Several existing Apple Arcade titles are receiving updates this month. "Hello Kitty Island Adventure" opened City Town Orchards on April 16, while "PGA TOUR Pro Golf" added the RBC Heritage tournament at Harbour Town Golf Links. "WHAT THE CAR?" received a "suspicious" update on April 10 with new skins, levels, and a map.
Apple Arcade offers over 200 games free from ads and in-app purchases for Rs 99 per month or it's also available in Apple One subscription, which costs Rs 195 (individual) and Rs 365 (family). The service is playable across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, and is included in Apple One subscription plans.
