Rhea Ripley Reveals Her Dream Team for WWE WarGames

Send Push
Rhea Ripley , no stranger to the intensity of WWE 's WarGames match, has competed inside the steel structure three times. Most notably, in 2019, she secured the winning pinfall, solidifying her reputation as a force to be reckoned with in these brutal encounters.

Currently locked in a heated rivalry with Women’s Champion Liv Morgan, Ripley has faced the challenge of being outnumbered on multiple occasions due to interference from The Judgment Day . Despite these setbacks, Ripley remains focused on her goal of reclaiming the championship. During a recent appearance on the podcast *Casual Conversations*, she was asked about the possibility of a WarGames match featuring her team versus Morgan’s and who she would want to join her squad.

Ripley gave some insight into her dream team, saying: “So it’d be me. I want to say it would probably be Bianca, Jade. Who else would I pick? It’s hard because they don’t get along. I would have said Iyo and Kairi, because Iyo has been in a few, she’s been in a lot, and she’s won a lot of WarGames as well. And then Kairi, she doesn’t ever give up. She smashed her face on that announce table and just continued to go.”

Ripley’s thoughtful selections reveal her strategic mindset, choosing experienced and resilient women to help her in the grueling environment of WarGames. Her picks, particularly Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane, show a balance of power, experience, and toughness. Ripley will once again face Liv Morgan for the Women’s Championship at Bad Blood on October 5th, looking to finally overcome the numbers disadvantage and reclaim her position as champion.

Rhea Ripley Reflects on the Judgment Day Break-Up

In 2022, Rhea Ripley joined forces with Edge and Damian Priest to form The Judgment Day. She remained part of the group for over two years, experiencing both personal highs and lows, as well as the collective rise and eventual fall of the faction. At the height of their success, Ripley, Priest, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio all held championship titles, presenting themselves as an unstoppable force in WWE.

However, tensions began to mount over time, and decisions made by Mysterio and Balor eventually caused a fracture in the group that couldn’t be repaired. The turning point came when Mysterio betrayed Ripley in their opening match, siding with Liv Morgan instead. Not long after, Balor’s actions cost Priest the World Heavyweight Championship in a match against Gunther, effectively marking the end of the "Terror Twins" era within the faction.

Reflecting on her time with The Judgment Day and the eventual breakup during an appearance on *The Wrestling Classic*, the former Women’s Champion shared how deeply the group meant to her. Ripley explained: “The Judgment Day was really family to me. It really was. It has helped my career so much more than I could actually put into words. That was when I started opening up and feeling comfortable going out there and being in front of the crowd. I had the boys and could fall back on. It was really emotional for me. I saw something come out about Judgment Day members, a specific one crying backstage after everything. I’m not ashamed of it. That was me. I was upset. The last two and a half years of my life has changed now. I can’t go back to that. They were my boys and my family. It was really sad.”

Despite the sadness, Ripley acknowledged the positive aspect of moving forward: *“At the same time, when something so good comes to an end, the other side of it is something amazing is about to start as well. I wasn’t really thinking about that because I was so emotional. That was the most fun I’ve had in my career in a long time. I felt invincible. I felt I could go out there and be a cheeky little menace and get away with it, for real, and have fun with my friends. I loved my time with The Judgment Day. Now, I’m loving my time absolutely brutalizing The Judgment Day. They are not the real Judgment Day. They are street trash.”*

Ripley’s journey with The Judgment Day, from her emotional connection to the group to her current rivalry with them, has clearly left a significant mark on her career.
