The TNA highlight of the year is Bound for Glory which is an upcoming professional wrestling PPV event produced by Impact Wrestling . The fans have something exciting to look forward to this time, as a WWE Star is also set to participate in a match at the event. The confirmation of the match came just weeks ahead of this grand event which will take place on October 26, 2024.
Events to look out for at the Bound for Glory 2024
The Bound for Glory 2024 will be the 20th event in the chronology. This year, it is scheduled to take place at Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan. Just days ahead of the match, TNA Impact confirmed on their October 17 episode that the upcoming match is set to feature a current WWE NXT star.
However, this did not come as a total surprise as talks have been going around for over a month between both NXT and TNA regarding this collaboration. WWE NXT’s Wendy Choo intended on teaming up with the TNA star Rosemary in the upcoming match. At the upcoming Bound for Glory match, the duo intend on challenging the current tag-team champions Dani Luna and Jody Threat for the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship titles.
The current TNA Knockout Tag Team Champions Dani Luna and Jody Threat, who go by the tag-team name Spitfire, have very recently managed to hold their title back on TNA Impact. They defeated the tag-team of Carlee Bright and Kendal Grey. Although the upcoming Bound for Glory would not be the first time Wendy Choo tag-teamed with Rosemary.
On the October 10 episode of Impact! The previous TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich teamed up with Grace and the NXT star Sol Ruca to defeat the tag-team of Rosemary, Tasha Steelz and Wendy Choo of WWE NXT. The fight turned ugly and left an impact in the locker room with a mural of “death warrants” handed out to Slamovich.
The main event of TNA Bound for Glory is also set to feature Joe Hendry who has also been the longest- reigning TNA Digital Media Champion opposite the TNA Champion Nic Nemeth . Confirmation of a match between the Knockouts World Championship Jordynne Grace and her challenger Masha Slamovich has also come through.
