How to get bitten by a Zombie
If you are looking to get bitten by a zombie while playing solo, you can explore the Roots biome until you encounter the Looker. The particular character looks like an orange scout covered in fungus. Once you find the Looker, it will lunge at you and bite.
You will know that you are infected with a zombie bite because the Spores meter by your stamina bar will continue to rise. If you don’t treat this, you will also become a zombie once you have no stamina left. Accordingly, you will have to rush to cure yourselves, following which you can get the Undead Encounter Badge.
How to cure the Zombie bite
To cure a zombie bite in PEAK, you must consume a Medicinal Root or a Mandrake. Both of these commonly spawn in the Roots biome, and you can easily find them on the ground. They have a carrot-like appearance, and you will see leaves sticking out of their heads.
Besides them, the Red Shroomberries can also cure zombie bites. However, their effects cycle out with maps depending on what the developers have planned. The infection can also be cured using a First Aid Kit. After consuming the Medicinal Root or Mandrake, your Spores meter will go down and will no longer rise, as you have cured your zombie bite.
