Should Dak Prescott Be Looking Over His Shoulder - was the topic of discussion in The Facility Show between Emmanuel Acho, James Jones , LeSean McCoy, and Chase Daniel on April 4, 2025. James Jones said, “He(Dak Prescott) should be looking over his shoulder. I don’t know how far he should be turning his neck, but he should be looking over his shoulder strictly because of his play on the football field in the big-time moment.” By the big-time moment, James Jones means the moments of the NFL season that matter the most - the latter half, divisional rounds, and the playoffs. Dak Prescott was injured in the big moments of the last NFL season. Dak Prescott was not there for his Dallas Cowboys team when they needed him the most. Prescott had his hamstring injury.
Joe Milton could step in for Dak Prescott like Dak Prescott did for Tony Romo
“If Joe Milton walks into the Dallas Cowboys locker room and he has a really good pre-season like he did last year, and he’s showing all this talent, and obviously, we all know he steps on the football field is if Dak Prescott…that’s a given. But if he balls out of pre-season and through the last three years, Dak Prescott has missed a good amount of games.” the big-time moments reference applies here too.
“If we look with our eyes and in the big-time moments with Dak Prescott, Dak Prescott don’t show he’s worth that money,” shared James Jones

“If a young fella gets in there balling, I don’t care nothing about the money, I don’t care nothing about any of that, the Dallas Cowboys are going to have to look over their shoulder saying, does this kid give us a better chance than Dak Prescott? The only way for me for Dak Prescott to not look over his shoulder is if this year he goes out there and he balls, and he delivers in the big-time moments and he delivers in the playoffs, coz we could talk money, we could talk no-trade clause, we could talk about all that. But if we look with our eyes and in the big-time moments with Dak Prescott, Dak Prescott don’t show he’s worth that money.”

Dak Prescott entered the Dallas Cowboys when Tony Romo was out because of an injury to his back. James Jones points out, “The young fella (Joe Milton) can get in the game just like Dak Prescott got in the game when a better quarterback than Tony Romo was in front of him, but he got hurt, and Dak Prescott took full advantage of his opportunity and the Dallas Cowboys said, you know what Tony Romo, we know you don’t wanna retire, we’re going to figure out a way to get you into this TV business and you’re going to make a whole lot of money... Tony did not wanna retire.”
