How tired are they? 10th straight loss for the Boston Bruins . Against the Montreal Canadiens . The Boston Bruins must be in the ruins. How tired are they? In the last 10 NHL games, they faced ten different contenders, from Montreal Canadiens, San Jose Sharks, Ottawa Senators, Tampa Bay Lightning, Washington Capitals, Vegas Golden Knights, Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, and Anaheim Ducks to Los Angeles Kings. And against all of them, the Boston Bruins scored only 1, 2, or 3 goals! Not more than three goals. How tired are they? The contenders seemed to have a free pass of scoring more than 3, 4, 5, 6, and up to 7 goals against the Boston Bruins! Like, really. How tired are they? The 10th straight loss against the Montreal Canadiens screams for a change. What changes does Joe Sacco , their interim head coach, have in mind? Let’s hear it from the interim head coach.

Joe Sacco shared, “We mismanaged some pucks,” in the post-game conference after losing for the 10th straight time on 4/3/2025 to the Montreal Canadiens

Joe Sacco, the interim head coach for the Boston Bruins, shared his valuable insights into the mindset of the NHL players of the Boston Bruins in the post-game, or post-10th-straight-loss conference, “We mismanaged some pucks.”

“What’s it going to take for the team to break the losing streak?” - asked a reporter.

“Well, it’s going to take 60 minutes of consistent hockey right now. We have moments where we played well but not long enough during the course of a game. We have to be able to sustain more of a 60-minute effort. We have to pull out of this together. It’s not about one person or two person, trying to pull us out. But we have to do it together. We have to do a better job in the process.” answered Joe Sacco.

Joe Sacco shared, “They are tired, they are trying to change, they are trying to get off the ice, it’s a long change,” in the post-game conference after losing to Montreal Canadiens with a score of 4-1

“When it’s the second period, why do you think, when the snowball gets rolling, you guys, aren’t able to stop it?” asked another reporter.

“It’s a game of momentum, right? There’s always momentum swings during the course of a game. For us, in period 2, sometimes, being able to manage the game, in the right way. For example, it was the second goal. We have a defense pair that’s out there for a little while, they are tired, they are trying to change, they are trying to get off the ice, it’s a long change.

Then we turn the puck over inside the blue line while our D’s changing, which creates a two-on-one. So, it’s about managing the game properly, and understanding that when they do grab momentum, we have to be able to grab it back as quickly as we can. It’s just something that we have to work on.” shared Joe Sacco.
