Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni once again stirred the curiosity of his massive fan base with a tongue-in-cheek remark during the toss ahead of CSK's clash with Punjab Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Wednesday.

After losing the toss, Dhoni was asked by presenter and former New Zealand cricketer Danny Morrison if he would return for the next IPL season — a question that has lingered all season given Dhoni's potential retirement.

As the crowd erupted in a deafening cheer for their beloved 'Thala', Dhoni, with a trademark smile, responded, “I don't know I'm coming for the next game (laughs),” leaving fans amused and guessing yet again.
Who's that IPL player?
Morrison chose not to push further, and Dhoni moved on to discuss cricketing matters, notably CSK's home performances and selection changes this season.
“One of the things is the pride factor. Majority of the games you play at home. Home advantage is very important which we haven't been able to capitalise on,” Dhoni said. “Same team. We've been a side where we don't make a lot of changes. But this season we've made a lot of changes. Reason is simple. If most of your players are doing well, then you chop and change 1-2 players. But this season it hasn't worked for us. It's also the first season after a fresh auction. So you have something in mind but you have to see where a batter is suited better.”
Meanwhile, Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to field. He confirmed a major blow to PBKS: “Unfortunate that he's got a fractured finger (Glenn Maxwell). Haven't decided on a replacement so far.”
