The actor's film 'Abir Gulaal' co-starring Vaani Kapoor is set to release on May 9. However, due to the terrorists attack in Pahalgam, reports suggest that the film will not release in India now.

According to a Siasat report, Fawad gets paid between Rs 15 to 20 lakh for each television show in Pakistan. Meanwhile, he gets paid around Rs 2 crore for every movie in Pakistan. However, the report suggests that he got paid much more for this Bollywood movie.

FWICE demands ban on Pakistani artists after Pahalgam terrorist attack

His fees for 'Abir Gulaal' is said to be somewhere between Rs 5 crore to Rs 10 crore for 'Abir Gulaal' as per this report. Meanwhile, FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) has demanded a complete ban again on Pakistani artists working in India after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Speaking to ANI, General Secretary of FWICE, Ashoke Dubey stated, "Since this is a matter of national interest, the nation comes first. The continuous attacks, including the recent one in Pahalgam on our tourists, are shameful. We have again issued a press release stating that if any of our members are found working with Pakistani artists or technicians, we will take action against them and stop working with them."

He added, "We are writing letters to all the associations affiliated with us. If anyone is found engaging in such activities again, they will not be allowed to work in the industry."
