If love happens again, I'll consider myself lucky: Pooja Gor

Pooja Gor, who was last seen in the TV show Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya 2 (2021), shares her thoughts on transitioning from television to the web space. The actress, who plays an intelligence officer in Adrishyam 2, reflects, “After doing TV for almost a decade, I realised that I wasn’t getting the roles which I really wanted. Television has a specific audience and you are offered similar roles. The audience is not ready for something new. I had this urge to do different roles and I realised the storytelling in OTT and films would give me that opportunity.”

Pooja, who made her Bollywood debut in Kedarnath alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, continues, “The transition was not easy. You are networking with a completely new set of people when you are keen on doing films. Finding a niche in that space is challenging.”

On the personal front, Pooja has been single after her breakup from actor Raj Singh Arora in 2020. She says, “What has happened in the past should stay in the past. Raj and I are friends and speak when we meet. We are cordial with each other and there is no bad blood. I am focusing more on myself and my professional goals.”

Talking about love and relationships, she says, “I do want to fall in love and if it happens, I’ll consider myself lucky. I want to get married, but these are things you can’t plan. Life is a wonderful journey and I admit a companion does bring happiness to your life. Having said that, I don’t want to force myself into anything.”
