Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri and Ammy Virk captivated the audience with their acting chops in their last venture 'Bad Newz' released in July. The film which was directed by Anand Tiwari grabbed many eyeballs for the hit tracks 'Tauba Tauba 'and 'Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam'. However, this film didn't receive good numbers at the box-office.
Recently, in an interview with India Today, Anand Tiwari was asked about the lead actors under-performances in the film. Stating the same, Tiwari shared, "I never expected any numbers. I don't have it in me to play this number game. There are other people more qualified than me who can do it."
He further noted that all they were looking for was for the audience to have fun watching the film, which they made with all their hearts. He admitted the happiness at receiving such love and witnessing fans connect with the songs, dance, and comedy.
The film also featured Neha Dhupia and Sheeba Chadha in significant roles, with special appearances by Ananya Panday and Neha Sharma.
