GSEB Supplementary Exams 2025: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), Gandhinagar, has officially released the schedule for the 2025 supplementary examinations for both Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC). As per the press release issued by the board, these supplementary or 'Purak' exams will be conducted from June 23, 2025, to July 3, 2025.
This announcement applies to students from the SSC, HSC Science and General streams, along with those enrolled in the Foundation Stream, Vocational Stream, and Sanskrit Pratham and Sanskrit Madhyama. The detailed schedule has been uploaded to the board’s official website, www.gseb.org, and students, parents, and school authorities are advised to check it thoroughly.
Supplementary examination for class 10 (SSC): Dates and subjects
The Class 10 supplementary exams will be held in a single shift from 10:00 AM to 01:15 PM. The first 15 minutes, from 10:00 to 10:15 AM, are reserved for reading the question paper, followed by answer writing from 10:15 AM to 01:15 PM. All papers are of 80 marks, except for vocational subjects which carry 30 marks.

Supplementary exams for class 12: Science, general, and vocational streams
The HSC supplementary exams for Science, General, and Vocational Streams will be held in two shifts. The Science stream follows a split pattern with OMR-based Part-A and descriptive Part-B, while other streams follow standard formats.

Note: 03:00 to 03:15 PM is allotted for reading and filling the OMR; 03:15 to 04:15 PM for OMR-based Part-A; 04:30 to 06:30 PM for descriptive Part-B.
General and vocational stream schedules also announced
The General Stream examinations will be held in both morning (10:30 AM – 01:45 PM) and afternoon (03:00 PM – 06:15 PM) sessions depending on the subject. Subjects range from languages, economics, sociology, and philosophy to vocational topics such as tourism and hospitality, beauty and wellness, and electronics.
Vocational stream subjects will also follow dual shifts across different days. Examinations include Entrepreneurship, Accountancy & Auditing, Food Processing, Programming Language, and more.
Practical subjects like Drawing and Computer Introduction (331) will be conducted using specialised formats such as OMR sheets.
Guidelines for examinees
Students must write their subject code next to the subject name on the answer book but must not make any personal markings on the answer sheet. On the first day, all candidates are expected to arrive 30 minutes prior to the exam. No electronic gadgets or reference materials will be allowed inside the examination hall.
