Investigation against constable performing stunts on motorcycle

Kanpur: A constable's video showcasing dangerous stunts on a Cobra motorcycle along the Bundelkhand Expressway became widely circulated on social media platforms in Jalaun district. The incident prompted authorities to ask a Circle Officer (CO) to conduct an inquiry. The constable in question is posted at Dakor police station.

The footage, which emerged on Monday night, features constable Rahul Kumar executing risky manoeuvres on an official Cobra motorcycle. The 30-second recording displays the constable performing various stunts. His associate, who captured the footage, can be heard providing instructions throughout the video. Following the widespread circulation of the video, CO Archana Singh was asked to conduct a thorough investigation.

She told TOI that the inquiry is currently in progress, and appropriate disciplinary measures would be taken against the constable once the investigation concludes.
