Shah Rukh Khan reveals failing at comedy, calls it difficultIn August 2024, Bollywood's King Khan, Shah Rukh, made waves at the 77th Locarno Film Festival. While in the picturesque Swiss city, he sat down for an episode of the Locarno Meets podcast, and the much-awaited conversation has finally dropped online. During the chat, SRK was asked if he finds it easier to make his audience laugh, gasp or cry. The superstar, known for his versatile performances, reveals how he finds comedy difficult. He shared, "I'd be honest, I think I have an innate sense of humour. I can make people laugh but it's very inappropriate times also. So, I try to control myself. I'm told by my team all the time 'People don't understand your humour.' And now people become very sensitive. You know, you say something and somebody gets disturbed. So, it's better to not have a sense of humour. As an actor, I think comedy is very difficult. I think it's a very very serious business." On the sets, everybody laughed and I saw the scene, nobody's laughing at the theatre. It's very difficult. I did a film called Chennai Express and that was a big learning experience. It did well and people laughed at the jokes I was really relieved and I've not jumped into a comedy quickly after that. I'm like it's a difficult job. Personally, I can make people laugh."https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpHN-Hsk1YI
