Sensational Star Komal Kumar's Yala Kunni Locks Its Release Date

The much-awaited Kannada film Yala Kunni, starring sensational star Komal Kumar, is scheduled to hit theatres on October 25. The film, produced by Anusuya Komal Kumar and Sahana Murthy under the banners of Soundarya Lahari Combines and Narasimha Cinemas, marks the directorial debut of N.R. Pradeep, who also wrote the screenplay.

Playing Nata Bhayankara on the screen Speaking to media persons, Komal Kumar shared insights into his challenging role, inspired by the legendary Kannada actor Nata Bhayankara Vajramuni. "When N.R. Pradeep first narrated the story, I knew this role would be difficult. But I committed to it wholeheartedly," Komal Kumar stated. He described the transformative experience of donning Vajramuni's look, emphasising, "The first time I looked in the mirror, I didn't see myself; I saw Vajramuni."The film features a strong supporting cast, including Nisarga Appanna as the heroine, and notable performances from Yathiraj, Jayasimha Musuri, Mayur Patel, Sadhukokila, Duttanna, Mitra, Tabala Nani, Shivraj KR Pete, Manasi Sudhir, and Suman Nagarkar. The soundtrack, composed by Dharmavish, has already garnered positive attention from fans, featuring four songs—three written by Pradeep and one by Pramod Maravante.

Directorial debut The film's technical team includes cinematographer Halesh, editor K.M. Prakash, and choreographer Murali Master. Sahana Murthy also plays a significant role in the film. The post-production work was completed at Jaggesh's studio.Director N.R. Pradeep expressed his gratitude for the support received during the film's production, stating, "This is my first directorial venture, and I am thankful to Komal Kumar and Sahana Murthy for this opportunity." He added that the film was crafted through collaboration among the entire cast and crew.Fans are particularly excited about Komal Kumar's portrayal of Vajramuni, with his nephew Akarsh, who is also featured in the film, recounting his grandfather's iconic dialogue from "Prachanda Ravana" at the press conference.
