Mani Ratnam Compares Sivakarthikeyan's Success To His Own: 'You Are Like Me, Siva'

Amaran is one of the most-anticipated films this year, with actor Sivakarthikeyan playing the lead in the film. Written and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on October 31. Ahead of it, the makers held an audio launch event which was attended by the film's cast and crew. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Mani Ratnam were the guests of honor. At the event, Mani Ratnam spoke highly about Sivakarthikeyan's rise to stardom. Here's what he said.

He made his film debut as Dhanush's friend in the film 3, in 2012 and subsequently went on to star in a solo-hero films. He is now an accomplished producer and singer as well.
