Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is expanding its export portfolio by including Exter in the list of models exported from India. Recently launched in South Africa, the made-in-India model will now be available in the country and has become the eighth model to be exported from India. The other models in the list are i20, i20 N Line, Grand i10 NIOS, Aura, Venue, Venue N Line, and Alcazar. It is to be noted that South Korean automakers dispatched the first lot of cars, which had 996 units.Commenting on the exports portfolio expansion, Jae Wan Ryu, Function Head - Corporate Planning, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “South Africa has always been an important export market for HMIL, as most of the models that are manufactured at HMIL’s factory in Tamil Nadu are exported to South Africa. Also, 2024 is a milestone year for HMIL as it marks 20 years of exporting world-class products to South Africa."

Hyundai Exter To Cost Equivalent of Rs 12.96 Lakh In South AfricaDubbed South Africa's newest entry-level crossover, the Hyundai Exter has been launched at a starting price of 2,69,900 South African Rand (around Rs 12.94 lakh) and goes up to 3,34,900 South African Rand (around Rs 16.08 lakh).
