A cyclonic circulation over the Central Bay of Bengal is expected to form a low-pressure area over the west-central Bay of Bengal and its neighboring regions in the next 24 hours. This system will likely influence weather patterns across several parts of India, bringing widespread rainfall and isolated heavy downpours.

South Peninsular India: Heavy Rainfall Forecast

The southern part of India is expected to witness widespread rainfall throughout the week, particularly in Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, and Telangana over the next three days. Coastal Karnataka is forecasted to experience extremely heavy rainfall on September 24th, while North Interior Karnataka may face very heavy rain on the same day. Other regions, such as Kerala, Mahe, and parts of Andhra Pradesh, are also likely to receive isolated heavy showers from September 24th to 25th.
