Veteran Bollywood actor Chunky Panday recently made an emotional return to Kathmandu, Nepal, after 36 years. Last visiting the city in 1989, the Housefull 5 star revisited cherished memories while embracing the journey with heartfelt nostalgia and spiritual devotion.
Sharing the experience on Instagram, Chunky posted cheerful pictures with the caption, “Visited Kathmandu after 1989. So beautiful, so green and the warmest Hospitality.” His fans were quick to shower love on the post, appreciating the actor’s heartfelt connection with the city.

A key highlight of his trip was a spiritual visit to the revered Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Sharing peaceful glimpses from the sacred site, he expressed his gratitude, captioning, “So blessed to get a Darshan at the Pashupatinath Temple in the month of Shravan.”
On the professional front, Chunky Panday is preparing for the release of Son of Sardaar 2, a much-awaited comedy directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. The film, a spiritual sequel to the 2012 hit Son of Sardaar, features an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, and others.
The recently released trailer teases a vibrant wedding celebration filled with humor and quirky characters. The film is all set to hit theatres on 1 August 2025.
