If you already have Virgin Media in your home, it might be worth shouting about it to your friends and family - that's if you think it's any good, of course. Virgin has just issued an update on its website reminding users that they can claim up to £70 in cash just by referring the service to someone else. Yes, there's free money up for grabs.
Explaining more, Virgin said: "When you lend a mate your lawnmower, you get a half-hearted "ta, pal". When you help your friend move house, you get a slice of cold pizza. When you refer a mate to Virgin Media? You could get up to £70."
This offer is available until October 8 2025, and is pretty easy to do.
You just head to Virgin's Refer a friend page and tap Refer now. Virgin will then ask for your email, and a personalised code with link will be sent to that address.
You then send this to a friend or family member. Once they click on the link and sign up, the cash will then be popped straight into your bank account - that means there is no fuss or vouchers to claim. There is another bonus as well. The same amount of cash will alos be sent to those who have just joined Virgin as well, so you both benefit.
Here's how much you'll get
Friends or family taking out Virgin's Mega Volt bundle or its Biggest Combo bundle, will get £70. Opt for the Bigger Combo bundle, Bigger Combo bundle with Movies or Bigger Combo bundle with Sports, and there's £65 each up for grabs.
Take out a broadband-only package (including Flex) or a broadband and landline package (including Flex), and you'll both take home £60.
"Refer a friend is our way of saying "cheers" for spreading the word about something you love," Virgin Media added.
"Instead of shouting about our broadband speeds at strangers on the bus (please don't do that - we will get letters), you just send your mates a link."
