The UK is going to see "very high" pollen levels in four regions of the country, according to the Met Office. With mild temperatures on Thursday may flare up in the East of England, the East Midlands, the West Midlands, and London and the south-east.

In total, just over 36 million Brits will be exposed to the ' bomb'. However, even if you live outside of the four worst-affected areas, that doesn't mean you'll get off scot-free. Wales, the South West of England, Yorkshire and the Humber, and the North East of England will all have "high" pollen levels. Meanwhile, the North West of England will have "moderate" pollen levels, as will Northern Ireland.

Scotland, however, will see "low" pollen levels, according to the Met Office. So even if you struggle with hay fever, you should be fine to go outside on Thursday without having to reach for your tissues. The mild temperature on Thursday are the reason why the pollen count will be high.

According to Netweather, London and the south-east will see the warmest conditions with 14C predicted. Other areas will also be reasonably pleasant, without being hot. Eastern England and the south coast will see the mercury climb the highest, outside of London.

Band of showery rain, some heavy, will remain slow-moving across western England, Wales and southern Scotland. Clear spells and showers to the west and north and a chance of some heavy showers developing to the southeast.

Tuesday:

Mostly fine in the northwest. Cloudier elsewhere with showers, perhaps heavy and thundery, merging to give more persistent rain in places. Warm in brighter breaks in the east. Otherwise cool.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Staying changeable with a chance of showers or longer spells of rain at times. Some drier and sunnier periods also likely. Temperatures around average though feeling cooler than of late.
