Prince Harry and Meghan Markle pictured at glitzy celeb gala as royals mark Remembrance

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a busy Saturday attending various celebrity events in Hollywood, while the Royal Family back in the UK were out in full force marking Remembrance Week. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were pictured at a star-studded fundraising gala last night, shortly before they headed to Kris Jenner's birthday bash.

The same evening, they issued a new announcement through their Archewell Foundation about their philanthropic efforts amid the "growing hunger crisis" in the United States, just the the royals, including the King and Queen and the Princess of Wales, were attending a poignant event in London for the Festival of Remembrance. New pictures have emerged from the glitzy gala in West Hollywood, with Harry and Meghan posing alongside various A-listers, including their pal, tennis star Serena Williams.

The Baby2Baby Gala is held annually to raise funds for children living in poverty and honours a celebrity mother who embodies the charity's mission with the Giving Tree Award.

This year, the award went to the Sussexes' pal, Ms Williams, who dazzled in a black and white bodycon gown.

The fundraising event gathered a whopping £14million ($18million) by bringing together celebrities, entrepreneurs and philanthropists in support of the organisation.

Harry and Meghan skipped the "red carpet" and headed straight inside, where they posed with their pal.

Those who attended included Orlando Bloom, Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, among other huge Hollywood names.

The Sussex couple were later seen at Kris Jenner's 70th birthday party, with Meghan wearing the same outfit of a long black skirt with a turtleneck and Aquazzurra's black tie sandals, while Harry had swapped from a dark suit and tie to a tuxedo. He was sporting a red poppy, pinned to the left side of his shoulder in both appearances.

In their statement on Saturday, Harry and Meghan announced that they are "bolstering" their efforts to provide meals and food relief to those in need in their local communities.

Harry and Meghan's charitable foundation said its "emergency donations" to local partners offering immediate relief to those in need, including the Food Bank of Santa Barbara County, Our Big Kitchen LA and Project Angel Food.

The couple also urged people to donate whenever and wherever they can as "caring for one another is both a collective act and a personal choice".
