
A small plane is feared to have crashed near Hemsby Gap after the pilot set off a distress signal before the aircraft vanished on Sunday. A major search has now been launched in the area of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
Humber Coastguard was called at around 12.34pm and four lifeboats were called to the scene. A rescue helicopter has also been deployed in the search for the missing plane.
