Donald Trump's Republicans must do this now that they're bound for White House

has won one of the most viciously contested US elections in recent memory. Trump has been lambasted as a dictator, even as a fascist on a par with .

All this invective and OTT rhetoric smacked of desperation and fearmongering. Even that poor old darling, was hunkered down at the White House, apparently binge watching the news channels for snippets of information that he hoped might buoy his spirits.

We can expect big changes in the political landscape with a far more conservatively driven agenda originating in . It will not be a time for Republican gloating, however, at least not if they're smart. There are far too many challenges on the agenda to justify taunting the Democrats over this win.

I also think it's fair to say that far too much effort has been put into confrontation and general nastiness, too much focus placed on what divides as opposed to what unites; this must stop! Bottom line though, it seems like Trump has trounced Harries fair and square.

This turn of events will doubtless herald a massive Democrat wailing and gnashing of teeth, since they had assumed THEY would be celebrating victory as if by some divine right many maintain.

Four short years ago it was the liberal progressives telling conservatives to "Suck it up, Buttercup". This time around the boot is on the foot and Republicans could be forgiven for returning the compliment, which, by the way, I hope they don't. I would hope that GOP hands reach across the aisle seeking a long overdue rebirth of sincere bipartisanship, which will hopefully see (soon to be again) President Trump take the lead.

Regrettably, there will be those terminally woke infected lefties who will refuse to let go of their bitterness and anger, who will continue to be driven by an all-consuming loathing of Trump.

Disdain for Trump is certainly not limited to the United States though. There is an entrenched hatred of anything and everything "Donald" in this country too. Two-Tier hasn't done himself any favours by effectively condoning support for 100 of their members being actively recruited to journey to the US to canvass for Ms Harris in swing states.

Arguably, this represented a breach of US election law that has resulted in legal proceedings being brought. And it doesn't wash dismissing this as a "private" choice either, or referencing past practice, so come off it, Prime Minister!

Trump's victory also potentially heralds a radical shift in US Middle Eastern policy. Benjamin Netanyahu will more than likely get what he needs to "finish the job" of eradicating Israel's bitter enemies, signalling a decisive shift in US policy. The totally deluded mindset of anti-Israeli and generally antisemitic sentiment so despicably prevalent in Palestinian protest gatherings will inevitably persist.

Notwithstanding the odious victory for Iranian proxy inspired and propaganda thus far mustn't be allowed to stand unchallenged, however.

The UK will need to tread cautiously in relations with the US for the next four years at least. I don't think this will bode well for EU aspirations either by their using us a whipping boy for their abysmal failures, gross opportunism, and general policy shortcomings.

Donald Trump's return to the White House signals a significant change in geopolitical fortunes for this country that will hold us in much better stead in the long run. It will also have the added benefit, perhaps indirectly, of seeing Labour implode and sent packing into the political wilderness where they belong.
