Celebrity Traitors returned for another jam-packed episode tonight (October 30) for another round of lies, deception, and questionable game playing. Last night's episode was a victory for the Faithfuls after banishing Jonathan Ross, their first Traitor in the whole series. But the drama didn't end there, as remaining Traitors Alan Carr and Cat Burns were tasked with murdering in plain sight.
Surprise, surprise, the deadly dead fell on poor Alan again at the dinner table, where he skilfully bunked off national treasure Celia Imrie. I did feel a bit sorry for Alan being lumped with the fateful order, but at the same time, could you see Cat delivering a Shakespeare quote in a conversation without raising suspicion? Probably not.

It's fair to say the Faithfuls weren't the only ones devastated to see Celia leave Ardross Castle. Fans flooded to X to share their heartache as the veteran actress, with one user fuming "ALAN SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF!" as another agreed: "NOOOOOOOO NOT LIVING LEGEND CELIA, ALAN HOW COULD YOU!"
And honestly, I completely agree. The 73-year-old actress was the life and soul of the show and gave us the TV gold we never asked for. Some of her most memorable moments, including her nervous fart and banshee squeals, are truly what have made the show such a hit.
Meanwhile, Kate Garraway was getting on everyone's nerves all over again. I think it's fair to say the Good Morning Britain host is possibly the worst Faithful the show has ever seen. Instead of bringing legitimate theories to the table, she suggested Paloma Faith was murdered based solely on whether or not she had sundried tomatoes on their cheese crackers.
I mean, why would BBC bosses ask the Traitors to kill Paloma Faith in plain sight using a range of cheese crackers? Ultimately, her poor detective skills would be her downfall as the cast openly shared their growing concerns about the likelihood of her being a Traitor.
After a pitiful round of croquet, Claudia hauled the six remaining celebrities into cars and dragged them down the estate for their next group challenge. The team was tasked with a Mission Impossible-esque challenge where each player had to return the head of a Faithful to their headless bodies at the other end of the hut.
But nothing is ever easy in the Traitors castle, and this time the team put their flexibility skills to the test. They needed to get from one end of the room to the other, all while dodging the red lasers, or forfeit the head of the celebrity.
I think I can speak for everyone when I say the highlight of the challenge was watching Joe Marler tell off Claudia Winkleman whilst dragging his bum across the wall. The challenge was met with expected chaos as the stars constantly shouted advice over one another while others raced to press the three break buttons that paused some of the laser beams.
Spritely Nick Mohammad was a surprising success at the challenge, being one of the first contestants to cross the room unscathed. Whereas Alan, naturally, complained about the poor paint job as Joe struggled to hike his legs over the beams without tripping the alarms.

Despite a few setbacks, the team managed to secure the entire jackpot, adding a further £14,000 to the cash prize, which was a welcome relief from the scheming and game playing in the castle. Then it came to the dreaded round table, and it didn't take long before players put Kate's head up on the chopping block.
To be completely truthful, it was a long time coming. She never brought any names to the table, often leaving the Faithfuls more confused than they began with. But the real drama ensued after we bid farewell to Kate.
Eagle-eyed Faithful leader Joe Marler clocked the two final Traitors in minutes. He confided in David Olusoga and his 'Hundie' Nick that Cat and Alan are the two remaining Traitors in the castle, despite little evidence to the contrary.
His deductive skills are unmatched and continue to be a real threat to the Traitors. At the end of the episode, the cast wasn't sent away to their chambers as usual; instead, they ventured out to the front of the castle, where hooded musicians played ominous drums around the fire pit.
There, they met Claudia, who informed the final five players that they had made it to the final, meaning there would be no murder tonight. As one final exercise, the beloved host asked each player to go around the circle and sincerely tell the cast: 'I am not a Faithful'.
Naturally, Alan burst into laughter the minute he tried to say the line with a straight face. Anyone surprised? Not me. He's been an absolute delight to watch on screen, bút it still surprises me that he's made it all the way to the final without being caught out by the Traitors.
Fans will have to tune in for the grand final next week to see whether Alan and Cat will walk away with the jackpot, or whether the Faithful will rise from the ashes. At this point, especially with Joe on their side, I think the Faithful have a real shot a winning, but only time will tell.
Celebrity Traitors airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9pm on BBC One or catch up on BBC iPlayer.
