After shutting its Canterbury branch in December 2022, the Ashford outlet has remained the last Jack Wills location in the county. In preparation for its closure, the store has been running sales.
Meanwhile, the Ashford Designer Outlet has announced that Cadbury will be opening a new shop in the centre, marking a shift in its retail offering.
While an exact date for the opening of the store has not yet been confirmed, the page states the shop is "coming soon".
The page adds: "Britain's most popular chocolatier brings traditional favourites as well as the newest confections straight from the factory to the shop floor."
Cadbury is making a comeback in Kent with its new shop at the Ashford Designer Outlet, signaling its return after a nearly four-year absence.
The beloved chocolatier had maintained a long-standing presence at Chatham's Dockside Outlet Centre, where it operated for close to two decades before closing its doors permanently at the end of 2021.
This new opening will join Cadbury's existing network of 17 outlet stores across the UK, which include locations in Portsmouth, Doncaster, Swindon, and Bridgend, continuing its tradition of bringing sweet treats to shoppers across the country.
The Express has approached Cadbury and McArthur Glen, which runs the outlet, for a comment
