Raipur: Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao has labeled Atishi, the newly appointed Chief Minister of Delhi, as a "remote-controlled CM," asserting that Arvind Kejriwal operates behind the scenes. Sao stated, "AAP's thought is very clear; everyone behind the curtains knew that Atishi would become the CM. Atishi has proved that this is just eyewash and it is Arvind Kejriwal who will work as the CM from behind."
In his remarks, Sao also compared Kejriwal to Lord Ram, referencing Atishi's decision to keep a chair next to her in the assembly. After taking charge as Delhi Chief Minister on Monday, Atishi remarked, "I will work like Bharat, who ruled Ayodhya by placing Lord Ram's wooden sandals on the throne until his return from exile. I will run the Delhi government for the next four months." Meanwhile, addressing the law and order situation in Chhattisgarh, Deputy CM Sao emphasized that maintaining order is a top priority for the state government. "Law and order is the utmost priority of the state government, and it is working in this direction. The victims of the Naxalite attack met with Home Minister Amit Shah and President Draupadi Murmu," he noted.
Additionally, Sao announced the initiation of a cleanliness program in the state. "Following the directives of the Government of India, a cleanliness fortnight is being run on the theme 'Swabhav Swachhta, Sanskar Swachhta,'" he stated. He also mentioned that to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay, party leaders, including the Chief Minister, will visit various booths and actively participate in a membership drive, aiming to meet the targets set by the party.
