A conspiracy to lure a 15-year-old girl to Kerala and push her into terrorist activities has been exposed in Phulpur, Prayagraj. It is alleged that the girl was forcibly converted to Islam after being taken to Kerala. Then an attempt was made to push her into Jihadi training. Somehow, the girl escaped from the clutches of the accused and narrated her ordeal to her mother. On June 28, the police registered a case on the complaint of the mother in Phulpur police station and arrested the youth and a woman involved in the conspiracy.
The victim's mother told the police in her complaint that on May 8, a woman from another religion in her village, Daraksha Bano, lured her 15-year-old daughter and took her away.
