Manoj's wife's brother had killed the snake
Manoj's wife Durgesh, a resident of Sihora village, had given birth to a daughter last month. Her naming ceremony was held on July 2. Manoj's wife's brother Sachin, a resident of Chaunk district Hathras, had come to visit. When he saw a snake in the house, Sachin killed it with a stick. Sachin went back to his village the next day. Four days later, a black coloured snake was seen inside the house. On seeing it, there was a commotion inside the house. Due to the noise, the snake hid inside the house.
Ignoring the snake proved costly,
people present there said that they saw the snake roaming around outside the house but people ignored it. On Wednesday night Manoj was sleeping inside the house with his wife and children. On Thursday morning around four o'clock the snake bit Manoj. His wife woke up when Manoj screamed. She screamed as soon as she saw the snake. After this, exorcists were called.
Manoj's life was saved in Jaipur hospital.
The quacks performed exorcism but his health started deteriorating. Manoj's family admitted him to Bhaskar Hospital in Laxmi Nagar where he was advised to be taken to Jaipur as his condition was serious. His wife took him to Jaipur where he died. As soon as the news of his death was received, there was chaos in the family.
After Manoj, Dinesh and Pappu were bitten by the snake.

On Saturday night, Dinesh and Manoj's elder brother Pappu were sleeping on a cot in a room and both were bitten by the snake. As soon as the snake bit, there was a commotion inside the house. The news spread like wildfire in the village. The villagers gathered and killed the snake with sticks.
Exorcists
were called from Nagauda Rai village. They played the exorcism thali for about four hours but there was no success. The family and the villagers took them to Pani village on Sunday where the exorcists treated them with great difficulty and only then both of them recovered.
Villagers believe in exorcism.
The deceased's brother Raju said that both are now completely healthy. Villagers still believe in exorcism. If someone in the village is bitten by a snake, exorcists are immediately called and thali is played.
It is necessary to give antivenin injection after snake bite.
Immediately after snake bite, the person should be taken to the government hospital. Antivenin injection is given to the patient. This injection is a mixture of four anti snake venoms. It works by binding with the snake venom and destroys its harmful effect on the body. -Dr. Bijendra Singh Sisodia, Incharge Community Health Center Baldev
