So far 5 people have been reported dead in this accident. At the same time, more than 100 people are trapped there. A video of the cloud burst has also surfaced. In this, it can be seen how everything was destroyed in just 20 seconds. People were seen screaming in the video. An emergency meeting has been called on the Uttarakhand disaster. The meeting is being held under the chairmanship of the Commissioner of Garhwal. Relief and rescue operations will be reviewed in this.
The incident took place near Army's Harshil camp. The Army team reached the spot within 10 minutes of the incident and started rescue work. 150 Indian Army soldiers are engaged in rescue. Ambulance and doctor's team are on the spot. A large number of people are trapped in the debris. Due to cloudburst, the water level of Kheergarh increased and heavy debris came flowing rapidly in the town of Dharali Kheergarh. Due to this, many houses of the town got buried in the debris.
Amit Shah spoke to the CM
Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami regarding the incident of flash flood in Dharali (Uttarkashi) of Uttarakhand and got information about the incident. He told in a tweet on Twitter that 3 teams of ITBP have been sent there. Along with this, 4 teams of NDRF have also been dispatched to the spot, which will reach immediately and will engage in rescue work.

60 people feared missing
According to the information, flood water has entered many hotels. Debris has also entered houses and shops along with flood water. It is being told that due to rising water level, there has been heavy damage in Dharali market area as well. More than 60 people are reported missing in the accident. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has postponed his tour and immediately left for Dehradun.
Chief Minister Dhami said that the District Administration, Indian Army, NDRF and SDRF teams are engaged in relief and rescue operations in the affected areas of Dharali. People are being taken to safe places and the situation is being constantly monitored. The administration is on alert mode. Assistance is being provided to the affected people.
Uttarkashi DM Prashant Arya said that so far 5 people are feared dead and more than 100 people are stranded. There are many hotels and restaurants at the place where the cloud burst. Some tourists who had come for sightseeing are also stranded there.

Teams left for rescue
As soon as the information was received, teams left for relief and rescue work. The SDRF team from Bhatwadi has also left for Dharali. Uttarkashi District Magistrate Prashant Arya said that a major cloudburst incident has taken place in Dharali near Harshil. Rescue teams have left for the spot.
Uttarakhand Police appeal
Uttarkashi Police shared information about this incident on social media X. It wrote- On receiving information about damage in Dharali due to rising water level of Kheer Gad in Harshil area, disaster teams like Police, SDRF and Army are engaged in relief and rescue work on the spot. In view of the above incident, everyone should maintain proper distance from the river. Take yourself, children and cattle to a proper distance from the river.
CM Dhami expressed grief
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also expressed grief over this incident. He wrote on social media platform X- The news of heavy damage caused by cloudburst in Dharali (Uttarkashi) area is very sad and painful. SDRF, NDRF, district administration and other related teams are engaged on war footing for relief and rescue operations. I am constantly in touch with senior officials in this regard and the situation is being closely monitored. I pray to God for everyone's safety.
