Ahmedabad Jagannath Yatra: The 148th Jagannath Rath Yatra is being carried out in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, during the yatra, an elephant went out of control. Due to the loud sound of the DJ, the uncontrolled elephant started running here and there and there was chaos among the people around. However, in the end, the mahouts brought the elephant under control.
Thousands of devotees gather during the Jagannath Yatra. During this, people present in the crowd started running here and there as three elephants went out of control. As soon as they saw the elephant, people started gathering themselves and started clearing the way ahead.

Khadia Vistar falls on the route of Ahmedabad Rath Yatra, from where the video of elephants going out of control went viral. One elephant got agitated by the loud sound of DJ and started running. Seeing that elephant, the other two elephants also went out of control. It is being told that 5-6 elephants went out of control during the Yatra. Out of these, three elephants started running in the streets of Khadia.
3-4 people reported injured
3 to 4 people have been reported injured in this stampede. One of them is a media person. However, luckily no one has suffered serious injuries. These people were standing close to the elephant and fell in the stampede. The good news is that before the elephant could reach them, people saved them.

As soon as the elephant started becoming unruly, the forest department team immediately became active. The team has tranquilizers as well as other weapons. They immediately brought the elephant under control. Due to this, the Rath Yatra was stopped for 15 minutes. 108 ambulances were called on the spot and the injured were sent to the hospital.
Rathyatra resumed
After a break of 15 minutes, the elephants were brought out from the streets to the main road and after taming them, the Rathyatra was resumed.
