The Only Way Is Essex's Courtney Green sobs as she opens up about split from ex

star Courtney Green can't contain her pain after splitting from her boyfriend, as she breaks down in tears on Sunday's episode of the reality show. The 29-year-old split from Callum Bushby after seven years together, with her pals rallying round her to try to keep her spirits up.

But it all gets too much for poor Courtney, who fights back tears on the upcoming episode while on a night out with her loyal pals. She can be seen discussing the recent breakup with her friends and TOWIE co-stars Chloe Meadows, Amber Turner, Jodie Wells and .

Welling up, Courtney tells her supportive mates: "It just hits me sometimes, I can't help it." Amber hugs her pal, assuring Courtney: "You're allowed to cry, you're going to be upset."

Diags appears to wipe away a tear, with Amber adding: "It's just your way of healing." Courtney, who has been on the ITVBe reality series for the past nine years, shared the news of her and Callum's split on social media.

Posting on , she shared photos and videos from her trip to Dubai with her friends, writing: "Entering a really strange time in my life. Newly single after being in a 7 year relationship. Knowing I have my friends to make these memories make heartbreaking a little less painful."

Despite Courtney's burgeoning fame, partner Callum wanted to stay away from the limelight, with the couple's relationship kept largely private. But when they split, Amber could be seen telling Courtney that Callum was "obsessed" with her, which she admitted she "probably did take it for granted."

Speaking about their split, Courtney confessed: "I have never been with someone who has loved me as much as he loves me and he has shown me what it is like to be loved. And I feel s*** that I have let it get this far for him to turn around and not actually want to be with me any more…

"I feel like heartbreak is the worst thing in the . It actually hurts. I feel like I have cried for five days straight. Like my tear ducts have dried up."

The couple briefly rekindled their romance last year. Courtney told at the National Television Awards in September 2024: "We were on a rocky path and we're finally getting to a better place, so it's positive."

But unfortunately, it didn't last, with Courtney recently confirming on TOWIE that Callum had "moved out". Speaking to her co-stars about the relationship breakdown, Courtney said: "To be fair, like, Callum's been there for me through everything that's gone on in my life, the past couple of months.

"Like, obviously my grandma passing away, finding out about Marley, his troubles, like, we've kind of, like… grew together more. We've grown stronger and I feel like I owe it to a six-year relationship to kind of give it what it deserves. And I just feel like time tells, and that's all I'm going to give it." She added: "I do fancy him and I think that's the main thing."
