Manchester United were at the centre of a viral joke on BBC Match of the Day following their defeat to Brentford with pressure on Ruben Amorim increasing as a result. Following a third Premier League loss of the season, United sit fourteenth after positive results for Leeds United and Brighton.
Amorim's side kicked off the weekend's action at the Gtech Community Stadium and were two behind after just 20 minutes after an Igor Thiago brace. Benjamin Sesko halved the deficit before half-time, but United failed to find an equaliser with Bruno Fernandes missing a penalty before Mathias Jensen grabbed Brentford's third in stoppage time.
As things stand, the United board are sticking behind Amorim with no replacement being lined-up. "I am never concerned about my job - I am not that kind of guy," he told BBC Match of the Day on Saturday. "It is not my decision. I will do the best I can every minute I am here."

This weekend's clash against newly-promoted Sunderland at Old Trafford has seemingly become must-win for United. With games against Liverpool, Brighton, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham to come between the international breaks in October and November, it is unclear where United's next victory may arrive.
Taking those games and two domestic pauses over the coming weeks into account, sacking Amorim could make sense with numerous verdicts delivered on his future at the club.
Former Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart was the latest to offer his thoughts on Match of the Day. Prior to that, he was asked by presenter Gabby Logan if things could get any worse for United which saw Hart reference a viral Mick McCarthy clip and reply by saying, "it can."
The two-word quip from Hart left fellow pundit Ellen White and Logan in stitches.
"I don't know, you know," he then admitted when asked how much longer Amorim may have. "They have very much made their bed with him, and they're sticking with him. I think they do believe in him, internally, but externally it is tough at the moment. Those sorts of results at the weekend are making it very difficult."
The performances are also a concern with the two victories that United have picked up this season coming against 10-men and Burnley deep into added time. Man United icon Gary Neville made his thoughts very clear on Amorim and the decision facing the United hierarchy.
Speaking on NBC, he said: "I'm really, really worried. I would never go on television as I know how difficult a manager's job can be and say a manager should be sacked, but I suspect the hierarchy at Manchester United are going to want to see a turnaround."
