Liverpool transfer target Marc Guehi has maintained he isn't thinking about his future, insisting "it doesn't matter" regarding the ongoing speculation. Recent reports have connected the defender with potential switches to European giants including Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The centre-half came close to securing a deadline day switch to Liverpool during the summer window, but Crystal Palace scuppered the deal after being unable to secure a suitable replacement in time. Guehi has remained a key figure and continues to captain the Eagles.
His Selhurst Park contract expires at the end of the current season and he's unlikely to pen fresh terms, meaning he'll be available as a free agent.

The Reds remain in the hunt for his signature, though fresh reports indicate they could trail Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid in the pursuit.
It's suggested that Palace are bracing themselves for the player's exit, either during the January transfer window or next summer.
Guehi is currently away with England and could feature in both Thursday evening's friendly against Wales and next Tuesday's World Cup Qualifier in Latvia.
Prior to those games, Guehi was quizzed about the significance of resolving his personal situation. "For me, it doesn't matter," he said.
"As long as I'm playing well for Palace, there is an opportunity for me to be here. Whether it's sorted or not, it doesn't matter for me."
Liverpool are expected to monitor Guehi's performance during the international break, with their January transfer window plans yet to be revealed.
Arne Slot might be worried about his central defence options, as summer recruit Giovanni Leoni is out for an extended period due to a severe knee injury.
There are also worries about Ibrahima Konate's fitness. It has been disclosed that the defender has not been training with the French squad after he limped off just after half time in last weekend's loss to Chelsea.
Liverpool are back in action after the international break. They take on Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday 19, October (4.30pm).
