The Formula 1 2025 season makes its way to the UK this week for the British Grand Prix. From July 4-6, the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and Max Verstappen will go head to head on the iconic Silverstone circuit.
Norris goes into the race on the back of a win at the Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday – his third of the season. This gives him some much-needed momentum ahead of his home race and the chance for his first Silverstone win.
The Brit beat McLaren team-mate and runner-up Oscar Piastri at the Red Bull Ring, with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Hamilton finishing third and fourth respectively. While Norris is among the favourites for this weekend, many eyes will be on Hamilton as this British Grand Prix is his first since joining Ferrari.

He is no stranger to the Silverstone podium, having won the race in 2024 for a record ninth time and his 12th consecutive podium. This makes him the most successful driver at their home track in F1 history and gives Ferrari hope for their first Grand Prix victory this season after 11 rounds.
However, he is now 13 races without a podium finish, with the China Sprint in March his first and only win of the current season. This year’s British Grand Prix kicks off at 12.30pm on Friday, July 4, with the race itself scheduled for 3pm on Sunday, July 6.
