There appeared to be a double twist on on Friday, with a sickening plot teased.
Amid Daisy Midgeley and her mother Christina Boyd teaming up to take down Jenny Connor over her secret windfall, they've enlisted the help of fake love interest Dom. Things escalated this week when Christina had Dom, the person Jenny thinks she has been messaging online and over test, head to Weatherfield to meet her.
It's all part of their plan to get Jenny to hand over the £60,000 in a sad plot to fleece her and then do a runner - paving the way for her stepdaughter Daisy's exit from the soap. But scenes on Friday hinted Christina had a secret agenda of her own.
Daniel Osbourne was suspicious over his partner Daisy's mother on Friday, after spotting her and Dom looking cosy at the hotel. This meet-up left Daisy concerned too, and she soon confronted her mum over how the pair knew each other.
As far as Daisy knew he was someone Christina got to help them with their scam, with them all set to get a cut. So to see Christina and Dom spending alone time together and flirting, meeting up in secret, sparked alarm bells.

But it seems Daisy may have good reason to be worried as Dom's real identity appeared to be teased. His true link to Christina and her real plan for daughter Daisy may have been exposed.
Ahead of scenes next week seemingly confirming Christina and Dom are an item, with them spotted kissing, Friday's episode showed they were close. Christina claimed they were just having banter and flirting and there was nothing actually going on between them.
But Daisy questioned this after the vibe she got from them at the hotel bar. Around this, Christina was clearly hiding something as she pulled a face when Daisy wasn't looking.
This face itself and her shock and being caught with Dom clearly proved she was up to no good, and hiding something from her daughter. But it was the phone conversation she had with Dom when Daisy was out of the room that appeared to give the full game away.

Christina was heard calling Dom darling and vowing that Daisy had believed very word of what she'd claimed, in regards to them not being an item and he plan rolling. She then commented that poor Daisy hadn't clocked on, and that she wasn't going to know what's hit her when the full truth comes out.
She then quickly ended the call when Daisy entered the room, and told her once more she had nothing to worry about. Her face said different though, and judging by the call it was heavily hinted Christina and Dom were together, and were plotting to get the money.
It also seemed Christina and Dom are scheming against Daisy and not just Jenny. So will Christina really betray her on daughter?
