Fans of were left unimpressed by a number of acts as the auditions came to a close. The popular talent series brought out the and wonderful talents of the public - but some fans think the main show was missing its usual quality.
It left viewers complaining that a number of acts aired wouldn't have made the cut in years gone by. Instead, they feel they would have been more at home on axed spin-off show Britain's Got More Talent. The show, hosted by allowed fans to get an extra peek at some of the hilarious auditions.
It comes as a hopeful decided to throw paper aeroplanes into a giant cut out of Simon Cowell's face on Saturday's show. Another act decided to rap about how to make a cup of tea.
One user on /X wrote: "Half of these acts would have been saved for Britain’s Got More Talent back in the day. ," while a second added: "It gives me the ick how staged/set up BGT is now.
Another penned: "Britain’s got talent is so bad, not how it use to be, where’s the talent? It’s like a pub session down the local after a few @BGT #BritainsGotTalent @ITV."
Elsewhere in the show, a magician from got four yeses from the judges, but not before taking a . The mishap appeared like to was going to derail his audition, but the act known as Manho continued, much to the delight of the crowd.
However, while the judges praised his tenacity and professionalism, some viewers questioned whether it was a set up.
Taking to /X one user wrote: "I wonder if he meant to fall off the stage so he could change the shoes. Either way nobody went to help him! "
Another seemed to agree, writing: "I thought he meant to fall," alongside a grimacing face emoji. A third added: "Was it just me who thought he was meant to fall off the stage? Whoops! #BGT"
Speaking before sending him through to the next round, told him: “Manho, first of all can I say, what an absolute professional, you carried on. I really loved this, it was unique.
"We’ve had a lot of quick change artists come on the show before but never anything sort of as cool and as slick and as modern as this. I loved it." Simon added: "However, the fact it went wrong, sort of made the act better. Things do go wrong and that happens in life."
