Meta-owned instant multimedia messaging app WhatsApp has released two new updates regarding status. After the new update, you will be able to tag someone in WhatsApp status and also re-share someone's status. This feature of WhatsApp is gradually being released for both Android and iOS.
After the new update, WhatsApp status has become quite similar to Instagram Stories, but one advantage of WhatsApp is that you will be able to tag someone privately, that is, only the person you tag will be able to see it. No one else will know who you have tagged.
The most important thing is that if someone has tagged you in their status, then you will be able to re-share that status, that is, you will also be able to share someone else's status in your status. This feature is already present on Facebook and Instagram. WhatsApp has given information about this new feature in its blog. At present, only a few people have received the update of the new feature, but by next week it will be released for everyone.
