Ghaziabad Police said that a woman named Shilpi Pandey has said in her complaint against the doctor that she had gone to Dr. Ujjwal Karawal's 'dental clinic' to get her tooth removed. During the treatment, the doctor gave her anesthesia three times and then removed her tooth.

The victim said that when she regained consciousness, she felt unbearable pain and then when she spat, some pieces of flesh came out of her mouth, gums, throat and tongue. The woman said that due to the injury caused by the blade, she could not even speak for several days. After this, she got herself treated by another doctor in Delhi.

The police said that this incident is of 21 February this year. The woman told the police that when she complained about this to the doctor, he returned the 1500 rupees taken as fee and then started threatening the woman of dire consequences if she took any legal action.

FIR registered after the instructions of the Health Department
