Navratri 2025: Navratri has begun on September 22nd, and throughout the nine days, chants of the Mother Goddess will be heard everywhere. Meanwhile, we share a controversial answer related to the Mother Goddess from Vrindavan, as presented by Premananda Maharaj Ji.
Shardiya Navratri 2025: Sharadiya Navratri has begun on the Pratipada date of Ashwin Shukla Paksha, i.e., September 22, 2025. Navratri holds special significance in Hinduism. During this nine-day-long festival, Goddess Durga is worshipped in nine different forms. This festival, associated with the worship of Navdurga, the embodiment of Shakti, also highlights the importance of divine power.
Devotees are always connected to their God in some way or another, but they also harbor many curiosities about their devotion and faith. A devotee of Premanand Ji Maharaj had a similar curiosity. He asked Premanand Ji Maharaj of Vrindavan for an answer, and Maharaj answered it.
Devotee's question - Maharaj Ji, I do not chant any name, I only chant Maa Maa, so will Maa's blessings fall on me?
Answer: Premananda Maharaj Ji said, "Mother is also a form of God, so it is important to connect with her as well." Just as we meditate on Mother Durga and Mother Kali, you too should recite the mantras of Mother Durga and Mother Saraswati. Continue chanting their mantras, which are found in the Durga Saptashati.
Devotees whose hearts are filled with peace, compassion, and love are the embodiment of the Mother. True chanting is not merely the utterance of words, but the transmission of feelings. If a devotee calls upon the Mother with their mind, words, and actions, they will experience her presence in every moment of their life.
Premananda Maharaj is considered a great devotee of Radha Rani. He currently lives in Vrindavan and gives sermons, teaching people to follow the path of devotion and follow the rules.
