The five-day festival of Diwali has started. This great festival starts with Dhanteras, after which the festival of Narak Chaturdashi is celebrated. After this, Diwali, then Govardhan Puja and on the fifth day the festival of Bhai Dooj is celebrated. This time Govardhan Puja will be done on Saturday i.e. 2 November. On this day, the shape of a mountain is made from cow dung and it is worshiped during the auspicious time. According to mythological beliefs, on this day Lord Krishna lifted Govardhan mountain on his little finger to break the arrogance of Indradev and protected the people of Braj from heavy rain. After this, this festival started being celebrated.

How to make Govardhan Parvat?
To make Govardhan Parvat, bring cow dung, and make a border with this dung. Make a mountain shape inside it. Now with the help of wood, make eyes, nose, and ears and give it the shape of a face. Make shapes of cows, trees, plants, and Lord Krishna around it. Decorate it with the help of sandalwood, flowers, and clothes. In most of the houses, worship is done only by making Govardhan Parvat.
