Farooq, who is currently believed to be in Pakistan and working closely with the Pakistan Army, had been involved in anti-India activities for years. The action against his property is seen as part of India's intensified operations to dismantle the support structures of terrorists operating from across the border.
A video has surfaced on social media in which it can be seen that a house is being blasted after which its debris fly into the air. It is being claimed in the viral video that the house belonged to the terrorist Farooq Ahmed Teedwa who was involved in the April 22 terrorist attack.
His house is among six properties belonging to terrorists or their associates that have been demolished in the past 48 hours. The demolition sends a strong message to militants and their handlers that their assets in India will not be spared.
