Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The state government is all set to unveil the implementation guidelines of four game changing policies including Global Capability Centres (GCCs), semiconductors, drones and AVGC –XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics and Extended Reality)  during the MP Tech Growth Conclave to be held in Indore on April 27.

These guidelines will serve as the definitive interface between government and investors, detailing end-to-end processes to avail incentives announced in the respective policies.

The implementation guidelines are being fully integrated with the MP Investment Portal, offering investors a paperless, transparent and time –bound application experience through a unified single window clearance.

The Global Capability Centres (GCCs) policy guidelines will position Madhya Pradesh as a magnet for high value, tech-enabled corporate hubs.

Designed to attract global firms in analytics, cyber security, compliance, AI research and supply chain management, the guidelines will promote value-driven operations rather than traditional IT/BPO services.

Meanwhile, the semiconductor policy guidelines will offer tailored incentive structures for both fabless firms and manufacturing units. They will cover design reimbursements, infrastructure support to EPF incentives and chip tape out grants.

More importantly, the framework will provide pathways for firms both covered and not covered under the Government of India’s DLI ( design-linked incentive)  Scheme, thereby enabling MSMEs, Start-Ups and global firms to participate.

The drone policy guidelines will institutionalize support across the entire UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) value chain manufacturing, pilot training, service delivery and testing infrastructure.

Start-Ups, manufacturers and service providers will benefit from seed funding, regulatory facilitation and skill development incentives.

With the launch of AVGC-XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics and Extended Reality) policy guidelines, the state will formally integrate the creative tech sector with its economic development narrative. It will highlight support for original IP creation and international market access etc.
