The Jain Minority Development and Finance Corporation (JMDFC) constituted by the Maharashtra Government inaugurated its Mumbai district head office in Fort on Wednesday. The office was inaugurated by Maharashtra’s skill development minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha.
Writing a new chapter in the development of JMDFC, the corporation inaugurated its Mumbai headquarters at Malhotra House near Post Office in Fort. The new office was left open by Lodha, who also belongs to the Jain community. Along with the president Lalit Gandhi and other members of the corporation, the president of National Minority Development and Finance Corporation Abha Rani Singh were also present during the inauguration.

“This launch is not just the inauguration of an office but it symbolises a strong initiative towards sustainable development, economic progress and empowerment of the society. The new office is an important step towards the economic and social empowerment of the Jain community,” said Sandip Bhandari, coordinator of JMDFC.
