Mumbai: A bomb threat was issued to the Mumbai Police on Friday, claiming that explosions would take place at two iconic locations the Taj Mahal Palace hotel and the city's airport. Following the alarming email, immediate security measures were enacted, with teams conducting thorough checks at both the Taj Mahal Palace and Mumbai Airport.
However, after a detailed search, authorities found no signs of any threat. The Airport Police have classified the email as a hoax and have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the anonymous sender under provisions of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (Indian Penal Code). Despite the scare, operations at both locations resumed without disruption.
