R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh will be seen together in Aap Jaisa Koi which is all set to premiere on Netflix. The trailer of the film was launched at an event in Mumbai on Wednesday, and it has also been released online. Well, when we came to know that 55-year-old Madhavan will be romancing 33-year-old Fatima, we were quite skeptical about this pairing. However, the trailer of the film proves that the two are just perfect for their respective roles.
Aap Jaisa Koi revolves around a man in his early 40s and a girl in her early 30s. The two meet through an arranged marriage set up, but love blossoms between them. However, of course, there's an age gap between them, they come from different family backgrounds, and they have different mindsets. So, will they get married or it will be a sad ending for them?
The trailer of the film is sweet and simple, and it promises to be a good rom-com with a pinch of family drama in it. However, we cannot ignore that it reminds us of Meenakshi Sundareshwar. Vivek Soni, who had helmed the Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dasani starrer, has directed Aap Jaisa Koi as well. It looks like both the films are of same book, just the different chapters.

The movie also features some good actors in supporting roles also like Ayesha Raza Mishra, Manish Chaudhari, and others.
Well, we are looking forward to Aap Jaisa Koi, but let's hope that it just turn out to be a different version of Meenakshi Sundareshwar.
